Who I Am

The Guy Who Fixes
Broken Dogs

I'm Drew Fisher, CCRT — and I fix broken animals. Mostly dogs. It's not just what I do, it's who I am. Whether it's a post-surgical Lab learning to walk again in the therapy pool, a senior fighting arthritis, or an athlete dog recovering from a sports injury — I'm the one in the water with them, hands on, every session.

My career in veterinary rehabilitation and sports medicine has given me the privilege of watching hundreds of dogs go from broken to unstoppable. There's no feeling in the world like watching a dog who couldn't stand three weeks ago sprint across a room to their owner.

"Every dog that comes through my door is somebody's whole world. I treat them that way."

When I'm not at work, I'm at home with my husband and our pawfect pack — Stewie and Derby Floyd (and expecting). They're the reason I got into this. They'll be the reason I never stop, especially the ones that came before them: Hanky, Princess, and Fred.

What I Do

The same modalities trusted in human sports medicine — adapted for four-legged athletes.

🏊

Hydrotherapy

Therapeutic swimming and underwater treadmill that builds strength, restores range of motion, and reduces pain — without stressing joints.

🦴

Orthopedic Recovery

TPLO, TTA, fractures, joint replacements — post-surgical protocols that get dogs back on their feet faster and stronger.

Sports Medicine

Performance conditioning, injury prevention, and recovery for working dogs, agility competitors, and canine athletes.

🧠

Neurological Rehab

IVDD, degenerative myelopathy, vestibular dysfunction. Rebuilding neural pathways and restoring mobility.

💪

Strength & Conditioning

Balance boards, cavaletti rails, resistance exercises, and proprioception training for injury recovery or peak fitness.

🤍

Senior & Geriatric Care

Pain management, mobility preservation, and quality-of-life programs for dogs in their golden years.

Off the Clock

Meet the Pack

At home in Florida with my husband and four of our five pawfect pups — Princess, Hank, and Stewie. They're the reason I fell in love with animals. They're the reason I never stopped.

Rehab Therapist

Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist

The CCRT is a post-graduate certification recognized by the American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB). It requires rigorous coursework in veterinary anatomy, biomechanics, therapeutic modalities, and hands-on clinical training through the Canine Rehabilitation Institute — culminating in a 40-hour clinical internship. This is the gold standard in canine rehabilitation — meaning every treatment plan, every pool session, every stretch is backed by advanced clinical education, not guesswork.
