I'm Drew Fisher, CCRT — and I fix broken animals. Mostly dogs. It's not just what I do, it's who I am. Whether it's a post-surgical Lab learning to walk again in the therapy pool, a senior fighting arthritis, or an athlete dog recovering from a sports injury — I'm the one in the water with them, hands on, every session.
My career in veterinary rehabilitation and sports medicine has given me the privilege of watching hundreds of dogs go from broken to unstoppable. There's no feeling in the world like watching a dog who couldn't stand three weeks ago sprint across a room to their owner.
When I'm not at work, I'm at home with my husband and our pawfect pack — Stewie and Derby Floyd (and expecting). They're the reason I got into this. They'll be the reason I never stop, especially the ones that came before them: Hanky, Princess, and Fred.
The same modalities trusted in human sports medicine — adapted for four-legged athletes.
Therapeutic swimming and underwater treadmill that builds strength, restores range of motion, and reduces pain — without stressing joints.
TPLO, TTA, fractures, joint replacements — post-surgical protocols that get dogs back on their feet faster and stronger.
Performance conditioning, injury prevention, and recovery for working dogs, agility competitors, and canine athletes.
IVDD, degenerative myelopathy, vestibular dysfunction. Rebuilding neural pathways and restoring mobility.
Balance boards, cavaletti rails, resistance exercises, and proprioception training for injury recovery or peak fitness.
Pain management, mobility preservation, and quality-of-life programs for dogs in their golden years.
At home in Florida with my husband and four of our five pawfect pups — Princess, Hank, and Stewie. They're the reason I fell in love with animals. They're the reason I never stopped.
